Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified mission-oriented individual looking to realize the rewards of working on an innovative and discovery-driven program located in Aurora, CO.  This is a high visibility position with opportunities for both individual activities and collaborative efforts in support of a complex end-to-end system.  In addition to working with other talented and experienced engineers, the successful candidate will interface with a spectrum of audiences, ranging from regular top-level status briefings for customers to detailed technical exchanges with factory subject matter experts.  Qualified candidates must be able to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Principal duties include:
- Cross-site specialist for the operation and performance of a highly complex system
- Investigate all indications of anomalous system performance
- Define steps to restore anomalous system to normal operations
- Support technical tasks relating to system hardware and its interface
- Support special system operations of non-routine nature
- Provide assessment of and identify error sources in the end-to-end-system including developing processes and tools to minimize system errors
- Provide feedback to factory engineering on operational priorities and objectives in support of ongoing and future development activities
- Support implementation of training crew members and site staff as required



 Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (Science/Technical/Engineering/Math) or related discipline with 9 years of related work experience OR a Master’s Degree with 7 years of applicable work experience
- Possess, and have the ability to retain, a SCI clearance with a SSBI and Counter Intelligence polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:
- Site O&M experience
- Experience with systems of a highly complex nature
- Solid understanding of RF principles
- Demonstrated competence in PERL programming or other scripting languages
- Proficiency with VMS and/or UNIX operating systems
- Experience working in geographically diverse teams and matrixed organization
