This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, supervising and directing the Fraud Investigators.
Responsibility includes compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data to make tactical decisions and/or recommendations to business managers. Solves highly operational and client issues with possible financial risk.
Apply statistical data to business strategies and presents recommendations to senior management in a meaningful format. Processes are highly complex and carry loss and regulatory risk (FINCEN SAR Reporting) for non-compliance. Must ensure that SAR Reporting and Special Reports are completed timely and accurately in order to ensure compliance with regulations.
Ensures the operation is adequately staffed, trained and developed, exercises authority concerning performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, development plans and terminations. Acts as a change and engagement agent to ensure team is fully engaged and productive.
Keeps informed of new developments/technology, protects company liability by ensuring compliance, and reviews/analyzes new methods and procedures to insure department efficiency.
Prepares and manages budgets and participates in or directs long-range planning for the areas of responsibility. Builds relationships by demonstrating excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and exhibiting the flexibility/adaptability to work in a matrix management environment.
Position requires leadership experience including delegate, decisioning and follow up for execution, ability to interact/negotiate with other lines of businesses and corporate functions. Excellent customer service and focus on improving the client experience will be critical to this role.
Candidate must be detail oriented to be able to keep track of action items/follow up and ensure ownership of these actions. Solid operations and regulatory, control experience is required to be able to ensure that risk/control functions are supported.
Incumbent will be responsible for leading/managing a team of 18 employees. Ability to manage priorities and ensure goals and objectives are met.
At least 7 years of Fraud Operations or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
At least 7 years of management/leadership, risk/compliance experience.
- Required: At least 7 years banking experience in Backroom Operations, Fraud Operations or Branch BankingBranch Banking experience.

- 10 or more years banking experiences in Backroom Operations, Fraud Operations, Compliance Operations, Branch Banking
- Account/Finance/Business Management Bachelor’s degree. .Core Fraud system/application knowledge.
