The Perduco Group, a LinQuest company, is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team in the Washington DC area. US citizenship and an activeDoD Top Secret security clearance is required.The selected individual will work with the Department of Defense at the Pentagon to support the analysis of future military capabilities and concepts.
Frame conceptual challenges, develop and document methodologies to quantitatively analyze those challenges, and lead/guide/support the execution of studies, analyses, and assessments.
Utilize these studies and analyses to make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, and affordability of the concepts and capabilities under study.
Proficient at instantiating analytical models into software, using coding languages such as Python, R, and C++.
Knowledge of modeling and analysis using mathematical/quantitative methods
Expertise with using the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint)
Ability to work well both independently or as part of a team
Ability to coordinate others to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
Experience with Python
High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
R, Matlab, SAS, or similar software packages
Experience with VBA
A Bachelor of Science Degree in operations research, mathematics, data science, computation methods, engineering, or related technical field
5-9 years of relevant analysis experience
Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve various problems across multiple domains
An active Top Secret clearance
A Masters of Science Degree in operations research, mathematics, data science, computation methods, engineering, or related technical field
