This position is responsible for resource utilization and productivity of all programs as it relates to assessment completion and makes the day-to-day operational decisions related to the services provided under this Agreement. Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assesses, plans and directs resources and initiatives to consistently promote the goals of the Department and fulfill NC Medicaid's stated mission and vision and objectives in relation to the CIAE – within the budget and with high customer satisfaction;
  • Assists in assuring contact compliance by delivering quality services and meeting all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements;
  • Oversee the Scheduling and Request Processing Supervisors to assure that they are effectively managing their assigned areas to ensure that employee performance meets the quality and productivity standards set forth by Liberty Healthcare;
  • Manage the performance of assigned supervisors, ensuring they are trained and able to execute all duties and responsibilities accurately and as laid out in all formal processes;
  • Involved in system review and analysis to ensure that assigned employees have the tools needed to execute their jobs effectively and efficiently;
  • Responsible for the management and performance of personnel within assigned areas in a manner consistent with company personnel policies and federal employment laws;
  • Responsible to recognize risk and implement plans to control and avoid such risk in coordination with corporate resources.
  • Monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of the technology used, personnel, the electronic and communication linkages with other components of all included programs within the CIAE, training programs and the processes required to be fully operational;
  • Gathers information, executes data analysis, and provides reporting to Senior Management for purposes of communicating performance and program management;
  • Organizes and develops operational guides, policies and procedures for their assigned area;
  • Conduct, report and use service utilization forecasting to support and enhance both short term and future planning to ensure proper preparation needed to consistently meet budgetary and contractual requirements;
  • Manage daily and weekly resource needs for efficient and effective timely completion of all aspects of the assessment completion process within contractual and budgetary constraints. Communicate targets and issues effectively in conjunction with other managers.
  • Works collaboratively with Clinical Services to ensure proper utilization of field resources to effectively and efficiently meet and exceed productivity and contractual agreements;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Skills & Requirements

You're a good fit for this position if you possess these attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Additional experience may substitute for some education;
  • 3-5 years of experience in operation of a call center, scheduling or logistics operations management, including use of appropriate computer applications;
  • Proven organizational leadership and department management;
  • Successful experience developing and conducting staff training sessions and activities;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others;
  • Possesses very strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong orientation to customer service ;
  • Must be able to manage ambiguity and work in fast paced environment;
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
  • Possesses strong problem solving skills utilizing an analytical approach;
  • Possesses the ability to execute data analytics and reporting;
  • Proficient in Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bilingual/multilingual a definite plus;
