Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be accountable for all short- and long-term objectives for the Terrapin. This will include safety, quality, performance, financial, maintenance, and innovation goals for each department. This position works strategically with the managers of each department to ensure the day-to-day success. This position will work with the Director of Operation to develop a strategic plan for Terrapin and will be responsible for the execution of the plan. This position is responsible for the financials of Terrapin and to work with the team to move Terrapin to a net positive state.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The S&OP Manager will be the subject matter expert in demand planning and will be tasked with building a process from the ground up that enables them to effectively collect necessary plan inputs. They will maintain and will be held accountable for the accuracy of these plans and must be able to communicate them regularly to various departments and senior management. Their role's responsibilities can be broadly grouped into three main areas:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains our safety culture in the brewery and reporting out any LTI, major safety incidents, and any major environmental incidents
  • Reporting out on all Tilray's critical KPIs
  • Developing a strategic plan for Terrapin and ensuring each department goals are aligned with the plan
  • Address all people matters at the site
  • Performance reviews with each manager
  • Determining merit increase for employees based on performance
  • Developing and oversee the execution of all Capex projects for Terrapin
  • Develop cost saving projects with the team
  • Ensure P2G plan is established with all salary personnel
  • Hiring of all leadership positions


Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong Packaging knowledge and brewing process knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills
  • General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other office related software.
  • Ability to interpret technical bulletins and schematics on equipment related to work.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly.
