Schneider Electric Buildings, LLC is a global provider of a full line of lighting, fire, access, HVAC, commercial refrigeration, and control systems for commercial and institutional buildings. We have the following position available in Clovis, California:


Operations Manager:

S/he will be responsible for the oversight of all production/manufacturing operations to ensure quality, customer service and product cost manufactured for the local and oversea markets. S/he will be responsible for managing multiple departments within the expected industrial competencies through coaching and developing in the plant as a Global Factory in line with the =S= Industrial Strategy. S/he with communication and planning build collaboration between the plant resources and various internal and external departments. S/he will develop and export talent throughout the organization. S/he will be responsible for the manufacturing operations applicable to the vocation of the site. S/he will plan, direct and control activities related to the manufacturing operations on safety, production, quality, lean manufacturing, interplant procurement, customer service, finance and human resources. S/he will define department strategy and initiatives to align with company's goals and program by utilizing a hoshin matrix for development of Annual Improvement Priorities (AIPs). S/he will be responsible for the manufacturing operation's budget, including capital expenditure, variable and base cost operational expenses. S/he will demonstrate a customer centric culture, responsible for improving customer satisfaction metrics (Service and Quality). S/he will lead department activities for high performance work culture and talent management.


REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Engineering and four years of work experience in continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing. Also must have 4 years of work experience in LEAN manufacturing environment: 1.) Managing teams of at least 30 people; 2.) Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for surface, back-order, and productivity; and 3.) Overseeing P/L of at least $15 million.
