Immediate Opening: Operations manager? Flexographic printing. Our client is a world-class printer, operating multiple manufacturing facilities. This is an exceptional career opportunity with potential for advancement with this recognized leader because of their growing market needs.

Our Client is growing and they now have two operations managers positions at different plants both in the mid-west.

 

The Operations Manager is responsible for the production functions of the site, which includes helping to achieve all Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Productivity metrics. The position is responsible for initiating, implementing, completing,and evaluating continuous improvement projects. The position collaborates with the Safety Coordinator, guided by visual factory management, to ensure safe operations.

 

  • Lead direct reports on the creation, implementation and ongoing monitoring ofmanufacturing plans, goals, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Incorporate lean principles to implement, and continuously improve production processes and procedures. This entails a specific focus on key metrics, including material waste, setup time, equipment speeds, labor variance, material variance, quality metrics, and on-time delivery.

?        The right candidate would have 10+ years of management experience in the packaging and or print industry. Strong personality to drive quality culture and build a positive atmosphere of sustainability.

?        You should be well-versed in structured problem solving with people skills with a hands on approach. Must have attention to detail, be accurate with numbers and information, have excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as good communication skills. Must be hard worker and self-motivated with strong personal character and integrity.
