Our client, a worldwide Asset Management firm is currently seeking an Operations Manager who specialized in the Enterprise Risk and Controls Framework, IHC Control Framework. This candidate will be working in the New York office within the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management – Framework, Controls and Analysis (EORM FCA) function. EORM FCA, in partnership with the CCRO F2B Processes & Quality Assurance team, designs, develops and maintains the Enterprise Risk and Control Framework, ensuring bank-wide implementation thereof and conducts training. Analyses regulatory developments and leads regulatory/ external dialogue. Develops Metrics framework, Incident data mgmt. process and MI reporting.


  • Enterprise Risk and Controls Framework --IHC Control Framework
  • Ensure consistency of control design and operating effectiveness assessments activities across relevant control frameworks (i.e. SOX, RCSA, etc.)
  • Act as an expert and liaise with key stakeholders from Divisions and Corporate Function areas; participate in regular meetings to promote improvement in the use of controls
  • Monitor control effectiveness assessment results, KCIs
  • Independent Review and Challenge
  • Perform an evaluation of standards which provide the platform for the 2nd line of defense to “review and challenge” the output of completed control activities design and operating effectiveness assessments • Develop reporting required to provide to ORM regional management on the IR&C results


  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • University degree
  • Experience working in a global banking environment
  • Prior exposure to established control frameworks (i.e. SOX, FATCA, IHC, etc.) OR control methodologies and/or concepts is preferable
  • Ability to think independently and present views in an objective and credible manner while maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities, delivering to established timelines, and to high quality standards
  • Interpersonal, communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others
