Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the operations side of the business including installation and service.  Primary duties will be ensuring the delivery of superior customer satisfaction to customers including product installation and service via efficient job turnaround, high quality work and timely response.  Responsible for staffing, retention, training and leading the operations team.  Candidate will be part of the leadership team of General Manager, Sales Manager, and Marketing Director to communicate opportunities of improvement for customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.  

Essential Job Functions
• Oversee Project Managers, installation teams and sub-contractors to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through timely and quality installation services
• Provide superior customer satisfaction through professional and courteous communication and treatment of our customers
• Quickly identify deficiencies and create plan to overcome said deficiencies in both installation and service
• Continually optimize installation and service processes and document processes appropriately
• Communicate all product and install issues to appropriate parties including customers, project managers and sales people
• Meet and exceed monthly company installation revenue targets with strong consideration to target margins
• Oversee and manage product orders for accuracy and speed
• Manage monthly inventory audits
• Recruit, train, hire, and improve installation crews at all locations
• Follow up with customers to ensure we performed above expectations and manage said feedback with process improvement where necessary including managing feedback from Guild Quality surveys
• Assist in collection of accounts receivable
• Develop and implement strict processes and procedures for operations department to adhere to
• Hours will vary and will be influenced heavily on the wants and needs of our customers
• Establish and lead service process for staining and painting of sold products
• Job will require travel between all Infinity from Marvin of Ohio retail locations Additional Job Functions
• Assist and coordinate display setup and tear down at various shows and events
• Oversee maintenance and remodeling on showroom displays

 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Previous management and leadership experience, ideally in construction project management
• Proven track record in team building and success management
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong computer knowledge
• Superior construction knowledge
• Ability to handle customer issues in a calm and professional manner
• Possess high level organizational skills and follow up Education / Industry Experience
• 5+ years of window & door installation experience
• Secondary education preferred
• Installation Masters Certified (preferred)
• History and passion for high quality workmanship
