What You Will Do:
The Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for achieving established goals for physician practices that are affiliated and have appropriate economic alignment with VHS. Affiliated physicians will include leased physicians and their practices staff, space, etc., employed physicians that are leased into private practices, as well as other relationships that are consistent with a management services organization. These goals include clinic growth, operational efficiencies, patient satisfaction, provider relations, effective talent management, process improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence. This position will be expected to be a key facilitator and liaison for affiliated practices to foster appropriate integration with VHS support systems and alignment with programmatic goals of the respective service line, which will require strong communication skills and ability to navigate in a matrix organization. This position will also be responsible for monthly reconciliation of the practice P&L to the lease agreements, and ensuring effective administration of these agreements. Works effectively with VPE COO, VH Director, Physician Support Services, and the WMC Service Line leadership to ensure seamless coordination and execution of organizational goals. Ensures MACRA and other programmatic alignment by partnering with VHS population health resources. Assures compliance with VH policies and all regulatory and certifying agencies. This position reports to the COO, VPE and has a secondary reporting relationship to the VP Operations, WMC.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelors Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field required
Masters Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field required
Seven years of physician practice leadership experience may be substitited for education requirement
Three years progressively responsible healthcare leadership required
Specific experience with practice and financial management systems and clinical EHR preferred
Certification & Licensures
MGMA - CMPE preferred
