Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the labor and material resources required to meet program delivery schedules
  • Coordinates the training of operators and assembler to the work instructions
  • Coordinates production builds with the master scheduler and buyer planners to ensure optimum line efficiency and utilization
  • Accountable for KPI's
  • Develops a rolling three-month executable operations plan based on program requirements
  • Management and development of Operations Leaders
  • Production line optimization through the implementation of consolidated work cells
  • Leads yield improvement initiatives and quality teams
  • Coordinates the transition of new products to manufacturing
  • Cross training of production personnel to support maximum flexibility and efficiency
  • Implementation of 5S+1, SPC and FOD reduction programs
  • Coordinates Lean Six Sigma activities and Kaizen events
  • Ensuring that production activities meet the financial requirements of the program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or Operations Management
  • Five years’ relevant experience is desired. Relevant experience may be substituted with Military Leadership experience
  • Green Belt Lean Six Sigma desired
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and production efficiency
