The Operations Manager oversees and manages the internal purchasing and warehouse operations. Responsible for maintaining quality service and proper warehouse management for the fulfillment of customer's orders. Additionally, this position oversees the warehouse cataloging and processing operations.
Responsible for daily productivity, workflow and quality of all PMSC purchasing and warehouse and CLS processing functions.
Oversee implementation of any new or changed specification(s) for new or existing customers. Reports and improve operational duties/functions with quality and timeliness of service.
Train and supervises all warehouse and purchasing personnel and oversee their department functions.
Compile and departmental and functional statistics.
Communicate with internal PMSC or B&T staff such as business development managers, project managers, sales and telemarketing representatives and customers on all PMSC and CLS services.
Assist in project coordination with all B&T personnel including project management team.
Educate customers and internal staff on process & procedures.
Assist in integrating PMSC products and services into B&T processes and systems.

Bachelor's degree and minimum five years management experience in a distribution environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to conduct effective interviews. PC and spreadsheet (Lotus) skills.
Cataloging knowledge helpful, knowledge of warehouse operations and systems.
Understanding of purchasing helpful.
Experience with databases, spreadsheets, word processors.
Excellent oral & writing communication skills required.
Proven teaching ability.
Organization skills & proven project management helpful.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and interpret
