Protecting our customers and their families is a tremendous responsibility, and supporting our Operations team is an integral part of that mission. We’re looking for an Operations IT Manager who can lead IT for our Contact and Fulfillment centers. Our ideal candidate will be strategic to help shape our future technology plans, hands-on to help support our rapid growth, and a leader/mentor for our Operations IT engineers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead our excellent Operations-facing IT engineers
- Oversee new Contact Center and Fulfillment site launches
- Act as an escalation point for system outages or tricky tickets
- Partner closely with other support teams across SimpliSafe
- Monitor ticket trends and implement solutions for common issues/requests
- Anticipate and solve for the future IT needs of our Operation’s employees
- Guide technology projects, like new tool rollouts or process improvements
You should:
- Have at least 10 years of IT experience, with 2+ years of management experience
- Fit right into a collaborative, no-ego approach to getting work done
- Have superior problem-solving skills in complex IT environments
- Enjoy building new processes and improving existing ones
- Have a humble, calm, always-learning mindset
- Be a natural communicator, verbally and in writing
Our ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Supporting macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS environments
- Navigating G Suite and other SaaS administration
- Working with 3rd-party vendors/services/carriers
- Configuring and using SAML authentication (we’re a OneLogin shop)
