Calpine's Learning Program Manager for Power Operations is responsible for devising Calpine's Power Operations and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) continuous learning strategy, developing Calpine's Power Operations technician qualification program, overseeing program implementation, and assessing outcomes that drive business performance results.
The ideal candidate has experience working in the energy sector/utilities/power plant operations, with strengths in instructional design based on adult learning theories, employee qualification program development, and proven ability to build strategic partnerships with subject matter experts to create technical programs, learning management system administrative experience, and strategic meetings/workshop facilitation experience.
The Program Manager may also supplement other Power Operations and EHS program activities that enhance our strategy.
