Our client company is seeking experienced manager to be responsible for providing leadership/guidance for DC operational functions and growth of the business unit.
You must be willing to:
· Assist in developing overall business planning/supply chain planning strategies
· Lead Transportation/Warehousing departments
· Be responsible for compliance of receiving/inventory procedures
· Oversee all technology needs/improvements
· Lead business unit direction/development
· Maintain good Teammate morale
· Develop/recommend alterations to procedures/best practices
Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)
· Degree in logistics/business/accounting/related field
· 5+ years’ experience in all facets of Foodservice Distribution Industry-preferably QSR sector.
· Experience with food safety/3rd party audits multi-shift/6-7 day operations
· Management experience of large DC/driver workforces (200+)
· Ability to use IT systems to generate/evaluate key performance data
· Experience with AS 400 systems/JDE/EXCEL/MS Word, Access programs (XATA/PeopleNet/similar)
· Excellent written/verbal communication skills
