How you will do it:
Serve as the primary finance business partner to the VP of IR-Operations ensuring alignment of short term and long term objectives and performance measurement.
Responsible for working with the BU Finance Director in consolidating the entire Operations profit plan and forecast to support JCI's short term and long term objectives
Responsible to consolidate ,interpret and explain monthly financial results & metrics by plant and in total to all interested parties in IR and the GISC organisation
Assist the BU Finance Director in supporting strategic business planning and aligning with business roadmap
Leading the entire finance operations of IR plants in NA & EMEALA region and all major integration and growth projects of IR, and support the operation and ensure quality performance and timely response
Overall supervision on internal control initiatives in relation to SOX and Internal Audit
Provide quality data, deep dive analysis, risk identify and business CI opportunities to the operation as business partner
Identifies best business practices and facilitates the propagation of these practices throughout the business.
Lead regional FIN projects, identify, share and implement best practices in region
Facilitate and coach local teams to solve the issues and deliver results, train and develop local team, and strengthen the team abilities continuously, particularly in the area of FP&A. Build succession plans for the plants.
Close liaison with the Corporate/Regional FIN team and global IR finance team
What we look for:
Qualified accountant / CPA / Degree holder
Over 10 years relevant experience in a comparable position gained within a multinational companies, strong experience in manufacturing operations
Experienced people manager with sound ERP systems skills, product costing exposure as well as hands-on experience with US GAAP and tax regulations
A strong analytical ability with business acumen, coupled with the capability to work as a finance
business partner with senior management is essential.
Very strong in communication, able to articulate effectively very complex matters across cultures
Open mind set and well versed in a US multi-national company with Matrix reporting. Ability to work effectively, balancing corporate and local perspectives
A strong yet flexible personality who can drive initiative. Persevering, with a collaborative approach, capable of developing and implementing programs in a dynamic, evolving environment
Proven ability to inspire and leave teams, both directly and through a matrix management structure
Strong business acumen and partnership with functions
Willing to travel and be mobile to take on overseas assignments, when needed.
