Collaborating with a team of analysts, the selected candidate will be responsible for modeling and analysis of military systems to quantify the impact of operational concepts, air vehicle design, payloads, and tactics.
Analyses performed will support requirements definition, air combat effectiveness, system of system evaluation, and military utility assessment.
Responsibilities will include researching and modeling military systems performance and operations; developing analytical methods and tools to facilitate analyses; executing trade studies; performing data analytics & statistical analysis; and developing effective presentations that succinctly communicate results and findings.

Bachelors or above degree in a Technical discipline
Scripting/programming experience (MATLAB or Perl/Python)
Demonstrated engineering/mathematical/analytical skills to solve complex technical problems
Experience modeling and analyzing air vehicle, sensor, or weapon performance
Knowledge of surface and airborne military systems, operations, and Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS)
Experience performing air combat or air-to-air effectiveness analysis
Experience applying discrete or Monte Carlo simulations with U.S. Government provided models (Brawler, Suppressor, AFSIM, EADSIM, ESAMS)
Familiarity with design process, design of experiments, trade studies, data mining, and data analytics
Proficiency with C++/Python; with experience in software development or integration a plus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency performing analysis and/or software related tasks on the Linux operating system
Demonstrated interest in real time strategy games, distributed algorithms addressing the assignment problem, and application of emerging artificial intelligence techniques a plus.
