Open Architecture Platform Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Provide operational assistance and guidance for platforms and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), including monitoring, management, disaster recovery, security compliance or auditing, networking, storage, service brokers, and build packs. Work with the client’s service desk, event management, incident management, problem management, configuration management, and change management processes for all Cloud services. Establish and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for the deployment of containerized solutions and equivalent products in the client’s infrastructure. Analyze and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to deliver customer applications to production, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement. Learn continuously and be at the leading edge of IaaS, PaaS, and equivalent industry trends. Become an agent of change within client organizations.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with release management or production operations and working on or leading teams performing systems automation and integration, including leveraging an agile methodology or lean techniques
-2+ years of experience with IaaS, including vSphere, ESXi, AWS, OpenStack, Azure, or GCP, Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, TeamCity, and other continuous integration tools
-2+ years of experience with client-facing consulting
-Experience in production systems and dealing with production issues
-Experience with Confluence and JIRA
-Experience with using scripting and programming languages to automate frequently executed activities
-Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems
-Knowledge of network technologies and equivalents, including load balancing, DNS, SSL, and firewalls and Cloud service and deployment models
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BS degree in EE, Electrical and Computer Engineering, CS, or Computer Information Systems

Additional Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation or orchestration tools
-Experience in working with NTP, SAML, oAuth 2, or Active Directory
-Experience with PaaS products, including Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
-Experience with software development or DevOps a plus
-Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics, including NewRelic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, vROPS, or Datadog
-Knowledge of SRE or CRE concepts, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets a plus
