My client is looking for an OneSAF Lead Systems Engineer for their location in Orlando, FL. This is a Permanent Position. Only US Citizens are accepted

Job Summary: Serves as a technical lead for OneSAF-related simulation efforts through direct coordination with customers, users, and all engineering disciplines throughout the system development lifecycle.

Essential Job Functions: Interprets requirements and complex specifications to identify potential technical solutions. Coordinates with customer representatives to develop technical requirements from customer input. Coordinates with architects and software engineering to guide system and subsystem design and development to meet technical requirements. Coordinates with test engineering for testing methodologies and requirement verification. Close coordination with PM and other technical leads is required.

Required Skills: Must be experienced in large-scale systems engineering, requirements analysis, requirements management, system development, test and evaluation, software and hardware reuse, capacity planning, and quality assurance for large-scale distributed applications. Direct experience in requirement analysis, system architecture, data modeling, with user interface design. This encompasses the systems engineering efforts to define the system and the integrated planning and control of the technical program efforts of design engineering, specialty engineering, production engineering, and integrated test planning. Includes the systems engineering effort to transform an operational need or statement of deficiency into a description of system requirements and a preferred system configuration; and the technical planning and control effort for planning, monitoring, measuring, evaluating, directing and re-planning the management of the technical program. Familiarity with U.S. Army operations, training, and development or related systems is highly desirable. Experienced in system definition and architecture, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) techniques as well as Java, C++, network communications design, and protocols in a distributed and multi-tier development environment. Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with external customer representatives and internal customers and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential. Thorough familiarity with systems engineering principles, practices, processes, and the CMMI process model. Experience managing technical teams in software development, implementation, methodology design and execution. Minimum 12 years' experience at demonstrably increasing levels of responsibility, with 5+ years' experience in systems engineering. Must have been technical lead for a delivered project. Must work well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. Broad experience with mainstream tools and technologies, such as: Java, C/C++, SysML/UML/OOD/CASE tools.

Required Education/Experience: Master's degree in engineering discipline or Bachelor's degree with 15 years' experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
