Install, monitor, and repair optically based, ultra high sensitivity protein detection systems and a wide range of sub systems (lasers, scanning confocal optical systems, robotic plate handlers, liquid sample handlers, incubators, washers, sophisticated mathematical algorithms, and related control & analysis software) in support of In Vitro Diagnostic product development within a Good Laboratory Practices, Quality Systems Regulation, International Standards Organization, and similar environment.
*** Debug scripts on liquid handling platforms and assist scientists with automation and integration of immunoassays.
*** Provide and schedule preventative maintenance programs in compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements.
*** Monitor and communicate status of equipment installations & configurations, preventative maintenance programs, and other instrumentation concerns.
*** Conduct risk analysis utilizing Cause and Effect Fishbone Diagram, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and similar techniques.
*** Track & update root cause analysis documentation and identify common failure modes.
*** Handle service and support requests regarding up time and sample throughput.
*** Participate in on call rotation to support instrumentation.
*** Instruct end users in proper operation and maintenance of complex laboratory instrumentation.
