Department Overview

The Division of Gastrointestinal and General Surgery is a comprehensive team of 15 surgeons focused on the areas of colorectal surgery, esophageal surgery, hernia surgery, treatment of pancreatic cancer and surgical nutrition. Our general surgeons support numerous clinical research trials and actively partner with scientists in the community to develop innovative surgical devices. The general surgery division also encompasses one of the largest residency programs in the country, as well as fellowships in minimally invasive surgery and colorectal surgery.

Function/Duties of Position

This position is within the Gastrointestinal & General Surgery Division at OHSU and will have a focused commitment to General Surgery at Adventist Health.

Primary clinical responsibilities will be at OHSU Adventist Medical Center and will be the practice of GI & General Surgery, including emergency general surgery call coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an MIS fellowship or Colorectal Fellowship is preferred but not required
