The E.W. Scripps Company is looking for an Office 365 administrator with experience creating solutions on SharePoint for its messaging and collaboration team. This role will provide escalation support and administration of our Microsoft Office 365, Google G Suite, and Slack Enterprise Grid environments. Additionally, you will work closely with team members and key business partners on developing new collaboration solutions and updating existing solutions.

Key Activities

  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for Office 365, SharePoint, G Suite and Slack
  • Drive adoption of messaging and collaboration services across the enterprise
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures
  • Assist in training tier-one support personnel and develop training guides for end users
  • Develop automated processes and reports for Office 365, Google and Slack administration
  • Deploy and support business tool integrations with Slack, Google and Office 365
  • Guide users in creating solutions on top of SharePoint, Flow, Teams, Forms and PowerApps
  • Anticipate and identify modifications and enhancements to address system problems
  • Keep up to date on new applications, services and product changes and make recommendations on how they can be applied to meet business needs
  • Provide after-hours escalation support as part of an on-call rotation

Skills

Education & Experience/Certifications


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or the equivalent work experience required
  • 4+ years IT Systems management experience in a medium-size business
  • 2+ years of experience managing Office 365, Exchange, or Google G Suite

  • Experience building solutions with SharePoint, Google Sites or other Web site platforms
  • Experience supporting applications on Windows and Mac OS

Other:


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Flow or PowerApps a plus
  • Knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot DNS issues a plus
  • Experience migrating enterprise email and file collaboration solutions is desired, but not mandatory.
