Lenovo’s Data Center Group (DCG) is seeking a qualified Offering Development Team Lead (ODTL) whose primary mission is to lead chartered projects and cross-functional, cross-geography project teams to plan, execute and deliver DCG Services Upsell Offerings and Solutions. This is a leadership position with the expectation the ODTL will possess senior level projectmanagement and operations skills, the ability to communicate comfortably both verbally and in writing at a senior business leadership level (Director, Exec Director, VP), and have strong critical thinking skills. The ODTL must be willing to work “outside the box” to find solutions and solve problems in a deadline driven environment.

• Lead the ODT team to understand the project charter and to complete project objectives
• Understand and manage project scope to deliver within the time / cost restraints
• Ensure E2E process will be executed as designed / Identify and communicate gaps
• Ensure appropriate team membership / functional representation
• Develop and execute project schedule
• Ownership and management of Smart Launch Timeline
• Monitor execution, Drive functional commitments to deliver, and Provide timely / accurate project status updates
• Own project risk management planning and change control
• Manage the Decision Checkpoint Process for the project
• Escalate issues to management as required
• Understand other Services projects planned/underway and identify if related to the project & ensure effective interlock
• Performs regular Lessons Learned with the team to ensure project and process improvements are captured from Concept to Launch

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
• Senior level project management and operations skills; PMI preferred but not required
• Proven track record in project management of complex projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and be flexible and creative
• Ability to maintain composure and perseverance in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to lead effectively through complexity and ambiguity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong customer focus and business acumen
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic multi-culture environment
• Business acumen and experience working with senior executives
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across diverse stakeholders to ensure responsiveness todeliverables and deadlines, alignment with project imperatives, and drive action
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project
