JOB DESCRIPTION
The OE Product Business Manager, Mobility Solutions, reports to the Director, Mobility Solutions and Fleet Management, and is responsible for: 1) defining the product strategy for tire-centric solutions developed in partnership with automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), 2) driving product development and launch readiness activities with relevant Bridgestone and OEM teams, and 3) managing launched products to drive anticipated business outcomes, working closely with sales / account management, technology and operations teams within Bridgestone. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable defining business models and driving financial modeling exercises, and digging in with delivery organizations to define, prioritize and develop products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the product and go-to-market strategies for tire-centric products built in partnerships with OEMs for Consumer and Commercial segment customers
- Assist sales / business development teams in presenting tire-centric solutions to OEMs, elaborating product concepts and opportunities, and triggering partnerships activities
- Develop product requirements, incorporating value contribution to customers, OEMs and Bridgestone. Work with delivery organizations to prioritize and develop products aligned with requirements
- Drive launch readiness activities, in partnership with relevant Bridgestone and OEM teams, and program management
- Manage launched products to ensure that business objectives are met, and all stakeholders realize anticipated value
- Partner with other Mobility Solutions Product Managers to evaluate and drive OEM-enabled features into commercial and / or consumer products
- Accountable for growth of the P&L for tire-centric products developed in partnership with OEMs
- Support sales / business development teams in establishing partnership goals, and negotiating contracts with OEMs as appropriate
- Coordinate with global BU’s to align product roadmaps, and to represent the Mobility Solutions organization in appropriate forums
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or software engineering; MBA Preferred
- 7+ Years of professional experience, with emphasis on Product Management / Product Development for one or more software products
- Experience with one or more IOT products, either B2B, B2C or B2B2C
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to define and deliver effectively to a product launch plan
- Experience partnering with Finance to develop financial models, and leading product pricing
- Exceptional communication skills; comfortable developing content and driving leadership discussions, and effectively leading working teams
- High-energy and self-directed
- Ability to travel, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both B2B and B2C products
- Experience working with OEMs as a supplier or partner, or as an employee of an OEM
- Connected vehicle product experience, either with an OEM, telematics provider, platform provider, or other ecosystem player
