Perspecta has an immediate need for a O365 Unified Communications Engineer (Skype/Teams) in the Boise, ID area.

Senior domain expert. Advanced knowledge of (1) VoIP telephony principles to support the converged voice/data-networking environment deployed internally; (2) Video Collaboration tools (TEAMS, Skype for Business), ; (3) Video Telepresence infrastructure. Ability to lead strategic objectives of the organization, with specific focus on Unified Communications and collaboration tools and equipment- Standardize the Voice/Video topology & environment - Analyze and recommend new technologies for deployment across the enterprise. Ability to effectively conduct and interpret tests, troubleshoot solutions for highly complex operational issues. Specific knowledge of large-scale messaging, presence and conferencing solution Architecture, Design and Installation. Develop collaboration architecture solutions including voice, video, and collaboration applications.


Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma/GED plus 14 years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree plus 12 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 10 years relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 8 years relevant experience, or PHD with 6 years relevant experience.

Secret Security clearance required

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Exceptionally Complex, Inter-Discipline, Inter-Organizational - Can perform tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and or managers not performed at Level 3 due to the size and/or complexity of the tasks.

Leadership/ Management - May work individually or as a key member of a senior leadership team. Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.

Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers. Directs multiple contractor and subcontractors teams through to project completion.

DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order.
