Nurse Residency Faculty is responsible for applying in-depth knowledge, competencies and skills in a clinical specialty. Assists the Nurse Residency Coordinator in assessing, planning, researching, developing, conducting and evaluating a program to support and sustain an RN residency program for Transition to Practice for new graduate nurses. Expertise is utilized in all settings for the organization. Establishes goals and priorities in accordance with patient care, staff needs and organizational objectives and in accordance with age appropriate care criteria for services ranging from infant to geriatric.
Bachelors degree in nursing, education or other related field
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Current Montana license as a Registered Nurse
Five years of experience in area of expertise
Teaching experience as academic nursing faculty and/or clinical educator in acute care setting preferred
Healthcare Provider CPR certification required, job scope may require ACLS or levels of CPR certification
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
