Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates clinical nursing practice to achieve excellence in quality, patient safety and patient satisfaction. Promotes a patient and family centered approach to all aspects of care. Administrative activities include fiscal, material and human resource management. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures. Requires sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership skills.

•The ideal candidate possesses a Master`s degree in nursing, management or related field.
•A baccalaureate degree in nursing is required for hires/transfers after November 1, 2010.
•Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license, required.
