DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities:
- Assesses, diagnoses, and provides care to urogynecology patients
- Obtains detailed medical history, reviews medical records and performs appropriate physical examination
- Orders appropriate lab work and diagnostic imaging
- Performs basic GYN procedures
- Responds to phone messages from patients and nurse triage
- Interprets and communicates lab results
- Partners with patients to provide individualized and appropriate care plans
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care team
- Carefully completes all required documentation in a timely fashion
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: - Must have experience in urogynecology; ideal candidate will have minimum 2-3 years of experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Minnesota RN and women's health nurse practitioner licensures and CPR certification.
- Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
- Strong charting/documentation skills.
