We are a 47 bed community based Emergency Room that services approximately 80,000 to 85,000 patients per year with a wide variety of complaints and illnesses. This Emergency Department is well known for its efficient, collaborative, patient centric care. We pride ourselves on our patient and staff satisfaction, consistently focusing on improvements in those areas. Reporting to the Nursing Director of the ED, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for the 24-hour management of overall operations for the Emergency Department. This includes the assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of patient care and nursing services for the assigned area of responsibility. Serves as a clinical resource and role model for unit staff. Incorporates the needs and behaviors of patient’s age group in planning and providing care.

- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Masters Degree or current enrollment in a Masters program is preferred
- Current CT RN license
- 5 years recent, progressive acute care nursing experience. Emergency Department experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Previous management experience required
- Demonstrated customer focus
- Outstanding communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate others
