Position Summary

DocuSign is the leader in electronic signatures. We are looking for a Partner Success Director (PSD) to join our Partner Success team. The DocuSign Partner Success team manages a portfolio of delivery partners and the projects that they participate in. The goals of the Partner Success Director (PSD) are to provide oversight to the System of Agreement projects the delivery partners participate in, provide support of any issues that arise, and, facilitate the expansion of the partners capacity and capabilities as it relates to System of Agreement technologies. The PSD facilitates systematic review meetings to manage the delivery partners scorecard and provide guidance and support to allow the delivery partners in their portfolio to excel. The PSD also manages the overall "balance of trade" between DocuSign and the delivery partner to ensure a healthy and mutually beneficial partnership.

Delivery partners will impact many groups within DocuSign (BD, PS, EM, CSM, Sales) and the PSD will act a hub for alignment between all these functions with regards to the delivery partners. The PSD must successfully align these teams while maintaining healthy relationships with and between all them.

This job will require a thorough understanding of DocuSign's products, as they relate to one of our largest and most important industries. In addition, this job will require a high level of comfort with outreach and long-term relationship building with partner targets, as well as exceptional organizational acumen to simultaneously manage multiple negotiations with varying cycle times.

This position is an Individual Contributor and position reports to the VP of Partner Success.


  • Develop a map of needs and priorities to establish a target list of partners that can fill those gaps in our global coverage and capabilities
  • Develop a target list of partners to pursuit that will address the requirement of the capability and coverage needs map.
  • Approach partners and convince them to join the DocuSign Partner program and begin onboarding
  • Drive and facilitate the effective onboarding of all new global partners. Address any issues that arise and marshal any required resources to complete onboarding as seamlessly as possible. This includes the legal and enablement activities required to onboard the partners.
  • Provide information, coordinate calls and identify gaps in understanding that will facilitate alignment. Develop a strategic approach required for your partner to excel and communicate and sell that vision to the associated internal teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in partner related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Professional services related field.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership, both internally and with high-value partner accounts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to work on cross-functional projects
  • Highly disciplined and organized, both operationally and in thought process; able to effectively manage and grow several opportunities and partners concurrently
  • Travel 20%
