A leading Baltimore based promotion and marketing company with Fortune 500 clients and offices throughout the U.S., Media Star Promotions is seeking a New Business Sales and Development professionalto expand and grow our 30-year-old business.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identifies and secures new business opportunities.
  • Prepares and tracks RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions.
  • Maintains accurate records using CRM database.
  • Builds relationships with current and potential clients to identify future marketing goals.
  • Establishes and builds relationships with key government and corporate sources.
  • Attends outside sales and pre-RFP meetings.
  • Responds to new business RFI (Request for Information).
  • Creates and administers capabilities presentations to current and potential clients.
  • Attends industry events, to provide maximum company exposure.
  • Gathers and presents new leads and progress reports to Executive Board.

Skills/Qualifications:

?        3+ years prior marketing industry sales experience.

?        Bachelors Degree in Business/Marketing/Communication.

?        Experienced using Sales Force, Deltek or similar database resources.

?        Strong negotiating and presentation skills.

?        Strong oral and written communication skill.

?        Attention to detail with superior organizational skills.

?        Self-motivated and strong work ethics.

?        Moderate travel is required.
