  1. Is this 100% outpatient? YES - But they will also have to get admitting privileges at a local hospital (this is in order to be compliant with insurance carriers). We would assist in acquiring those privileges with our partners in the industry.
  2. What is patient volume? We did have a small established practice, which has temporarily been put on hold until we find a new neurologist, we expect that some of those patients will return. Therefore the initial volume would be low. There is a need for a good General Neurologist in the area, so we anticipate that volume to increase, within what is maintainable.
  3. What sort of procedures will be expected to be done (such as DBS programming)? Procedures performed would be left up to the neurologists' discretion. We do not have specific criteria, however, performing DBS programming would be a huge asset.
  4. Any sort of training or guidance for those procedures? We have many partners in the industry, such as Medtronic, that we work with on a regular basis. Through these partnerships, training and continued education would be arranged for specialized testing and procedures, such as DBS programming, to benefit movement disorder patients.
