Candidate will be an experienced Network Operations Analyst to support the Tier 2 team. Daily activities/responsibilities include: Compiles records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance, troubleshoots network performance issues, analyze network traffic, and briefings and consolidated information to specific ARNORTH on-going missions. Creates ARNORTH operations briefings for presentation to senior management. Performs network monitoring with SolarWinds to obtain input to operations briefings, reports, and assistance to ARNORTH personnel in the field. Manages COMEX (Communications Exercises), coordinates and reports results of COMMEX to senior management staff, responsible for synching all parties. Performs network performance reporting, documents change management and trend analyses. Provides help desk support for on-going missions and field projects. Notifies ARNORTH staff of network outages. Assists with IRV maintenance schedule, coordinates maintenance requests for ARNORTH vehicle and satellite equipment. Performs all admin tasks required for ARNORTH IT operations at Fort Sam Houston and in the field.
4+ yrs. customer support experience. 2+ yrs. Help Desk experience. 0-2 Years Network Experience. CompTIA Security+ CE certified.
ITIL Certification. Experience using SolarWinds. Strong Presentation Skills. Experience with Disaster Response Mission. Military Analyst Experience.
Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance. This is a full-time position located at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
