A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Work with networking technologies that include some or all of the following: LAN switches, routers, wireless LAN controllers, wireless access points, SDWAN routing, and overall WAN connectivity
  • Project work will range in scope and size to include greenfield site deployments, technology refreshes, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and decommissions
  • Coordinate with customers and peer resources in design and execution of enterprise network project requests throughout the life cycle of the project. This may include coordination with demand management, technical design, circuit provisioning, configuration and physical implementation of enterprise networking solutions
  • Site work will include remote configuration, and may at times, require onsite support for installations
  • Travel responsibilities may include execution of site surveys (including wireless), documentation and deployment of LAN/WAN, wireless, traditional voice environments etc.



What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years networking experience
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking solutions including layer 2 switching, wireless, layer 3 routing, and remote configuration
  • Experience working with complex enterprise WAN (Wide Area Network) environments, including the following protocols/topologies: MPLS, QoS, BGP, DMVPN, OSPF
  • Experience with all common transport and routing protocols with a specific emphasis on BGP and OSPF being desirable
  • Experience with Cisco IOS and familiarity with the Cisco product line Practical knowledge of network monitoring and management protocols (SNMP, etc.)



What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with operational administration of enterprise networks (NOC, Tier 3 Support)
  • Experience with Viptela SDWAN technologies
  • Experience developing network automation or deployment solutions
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms
  • Cloud networking knowledge (Private, Public, Hybrid)
  • Strong knowledge of wireless management and configuration
  • Experience with VoIP and TDM voice solutions
  • Specific experience with Cisco Call Manager and CME platforms is desired
  • CCNA (Routing & Switching, Voice, or wireless) certification
  • CCNP (Routing & Switching or Voice) certification
  • CCIE and/or CCDE certification
