Actively participate in meetings with key stakeholders regarding the roadmap planning and performance testing. Mentor tier 1 members on video network system, and troubleshooting. Provide concise weekly updates to management and effectively present project status to leadership.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Openstack Certification.
  • 3 or more years of work experience as a systems/network engineer in a video environment.
  • 1 or more years of related cable, satellite, and telephony transport industries knowledge.
  • 1 or more years of experience with analog/digital video, audio and multi-channel experience.
  • Proven ability to manage/administer: Networks, Video Architecture, Conditional Access Systems, Ad Insertion systems, Windows & Linux Servers.
  • Experience with enterprise/network/video architecture monitoring tools or applications.
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Motorola networks.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell, Ruby).
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience with Linux systems in an enterprise production environment.
  • Experience with SDN/NFV.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, firewalls, HTTP, SSL, DNS, DHCP.
  • Proven ability to manage/administer: Networks, Video Architecture, Windows Servers.
  • Experience with enterprise/network/video architecture monitoring tools or applications.
  • Experience with conditional access systems and digital rights management.
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arris networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers.
  • Ability to maintain configuration of devices in a network management monitoring system.
  • Expert knowledge of services, network devices, knowledge base solutions, and system monitoring tools.
  • Proven customer communication and interaction skills.
  • Ability to perform challenging assignments independently.
  • Willingness to work different shifts.
  • Willingness to participate in 24x7 escalation and support duties including holidays and weekends.
