The Network Architect will interpret business requirements into technical network solutions framework. Additionally you will provide technology road maps governed by strategic direction, business requirements as well as resourcing and financial constraints. Liaise with enterprise, server and applications architects to ensure alignment across technologyportfolios.

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years of combined experience working in NetworkEngineering and Architecture.  This will include designing and implementing comprehensive Enterprise Network solutions using Avaya, Cisco, or Juniper products (the current environment is 75% Avaya, and 25% Cisco)
  • Advanced knowledge of protocols that includes a combination of the following: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and EIGRP, SPB, TRILL
  • Advanced knowledge of network virtualization technologies that includes a combination of the following: MPLS, VRF, VLAN, VSS.  Advanced knowledge of tunneling protocols that includes a combination of the following:  IPSEC, GRE, L2TPv3
  • Data Center and high availability design experience
  • Experience with VOIP components and convergednetworks
  • Experience with networksecurity standards
  • Must be Nicotine free for the past 30 days, and pass the required health exam
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field

Nice to Haves:

  • Relevant industry certifications: Avaya, Cisco, Juniper and/or Specialist training that covers OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, STP, MPLS, VPNs, Ethernet
