POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Network Analyst is responsible for the design, install and support of CCHHS computer systems, as well as local-area networks {LAN), wide- area networks (WAN), network segments, VoIP,Internet and Intranet systems. The Senior Network Analyst maintains network hardware and software, analyzes problems, and monitors networks to ensure their availability to system users. The Senior Network Analyst is also responsible for gathering data to identify customer needs and apply that data in identifying, interpreting and evaluating system .and network requirements as well as coordinating and implementing networksecurity measures. The Senior Network Analyst provides customer support, maintenance, and administration to the HIS department's network.

JOB DUTIES (List in order of importance)
1. Utilizes network management support tools to provide network statistics to the Network Support Team Manager.
2. Provides guidance to a team of Network Analysts supporting the network infrastructure including installation, management, and support through established best practices and procedures.
3. Coordinates and monitors Network Analysts and provide mentoring and coaching when needed.
4. Schedules and coordinates any network downtime with the Help Desk and broadcast appropriate messages to end users.
5. Administrator for DHCP servers and responsible for VLAN scopes and static IP log.
6. Works with other Network Support Team member across the Bureau and the county WAN group in problem resolution.
7. Participates and represents HIS on Network projects across the System.
8. Serves as an SME for Low Level and High Level design of data center networks utilizing industry best practices
9. Serves as an SME on all network issues and provide escalation support to the Network Analyst position.
10. Attends and participates in the weekly Network Support Team meetings and provides monthly usage reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Over 8 years of expertize in Configuring, Managing, Troubleshooting Network devices, TCP/IP Protocols, LAN/WAN Services and Implementing IP addressing Schemes to meet organizational network requirements in different environments.
2. Hands on experience of Cisco Nexus 7k,5k or similar platform.
3. Working knowledge of Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to open and close support calls.
4. Experience with VoIP integration with LAN maintenance and support of Cisco Unified Communications (Cisco Call Manager / Cisco Unified Communications Manager –CUCM, Cisco Unity, UCCX) solutions.
5. Experience in Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting Cisco Switches (7K,5K, 2900, 3500, 3700, 4500 and 6500 Series) and Cisco Routers (1800, 2800, 3800, 4400 and 7200 Series) using CLI.or similar Arista, Juniper EX series
6. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including WAN, IPsec, DMVPN,MPLS
7. Hands on experience with Load Balancing technologies ( Riverbed, F5, NetScaler or similar platforms)
8. Solid knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Perl, PowerShell, VBScript, Python or similar)
9. Strong communication skills with the ability to work with end-users at various skill levels.
10. Ability to work in a team environment and mentor other junior members.
11. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite,Visio,Wireshark and overall PC knowledge.
12. Must be able to multitask and require minimal supervision to bring network related incidents to closure.
13. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external contacts.
EDUCATION
1. Bachelors degree or 8 years of networking experience with Cisco or similar network devices
2. CCIE or similar certification.
