Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing an external regional team of Net Revenue Analysts. The Net Revenue Program Directors responsibilities include supervision and review during the month-end close process within the net revenue department as well as balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations. Assists the leadership in reporting monthly results to the regional finance teams. Works closely with financial leadership within their assigned regions, develop professional working relationships, and respond timely to requests from the field. Works closely with the corporate accounting managers to ensure net revenue numbers are properly reported each month.

Essential Functions

Drives strategy of net revenue department in areas of responsibility and oversight.

Creates, analyzes and distributes net revenue numbers to reimbursement, revenue cycle, and the regional finance teams to understand the monthly net revenue projections prior to month end close.

Reviews all month end journal entries prepared by the Net Revenue team prior to the entry being posted. Reviews the Crowe RCA results completed by the Regional Net Revenue Lead Analysts and analyzes results, including a complete understanding of any deviations from projections, trends, and budget.

Reviews close packages prior to being sent out and all month end reconciliations.

Participates in the development and documentation of department policies, processes and procedures, and ensures the policies are upheld. Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Ensures the external regional Net Revenue Lead Analysts adhere to month end checklist, timeline, and policies. Ensures net revenue numbers are properly reported each month.

Coaches and mentors the external Net Revenue Analysts to help them improve the quality of their work and ensures that all deadlines are met consistently.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and five years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment.

Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in a large organization; strong critical thinking who challenges the way things have always been done to look for opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.
