UWMC has an exciting opportunity to join our neonatal intensive care team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C). The NNP/PA-C will serve as a neonatal medical provider and resident educator in the NICU under the direct supervision of the attending neonatologist with the capability to bill for services rendered specific to their role. They may train new NNPs & PA-Cs as needed and will enhance professional development and retention of NNPs & PA-Cs working at UWMC.
Position requires current, valid Washington State license as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) with current Washington State Prescriptive Authority License. Current Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Education & Experience. Master’s degree in from an accredited program. PA-C must have completed a NICU residency to be eligible for consideration. Experience as NNP or PA in Level III NICU and delivery room experience is strongly preferred.
