Job Description:

Compression System Engineering at Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is looking for a self-motivated and disciplined individual to join its Project Engineering team as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) leader for the PW1100G/PW1400G commercial engine programs. The successful applicant will provide leadership to a cross functional team of engineering and operations employees for the execution of post certification engineering activities primarily focused on the rotor components of the High Pressure Compressor module. Responsibilities will include completing engineering changes to meet product technical and cost requirements, production support and support of the PW1100G/PW1400G engine entry into service (EIS). The Neo HPC Rotors IPT Lead ensures his/her team meets all customer technical and production requirements within budget and on schedule. Strong knowledge of the IPD process, team building, strategic leadership and communication skills are required. This position offers the candidate an opportunity to excel in a leadership role within the NGPF program.

The candidate must be able to manage many tasks simultaneously, help lead a large group, motivate others to share goals and visions and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel at PW and suppliers.

Travel: 10%

Education/Certifications:

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required. MS in Engineering or MBA preferred.

Qualifications:

8+ years engineering experience. Module Center Engineering background in design is a plus. Effective project management, communication and presentation skills required.
