National VP of Sales

Leading distributor in home products on a major growth mission looking for highly strategic and hands on National VP of Sales to lead the relationship with 3 major retailers in US and Canada.

Position Overview: This National VP of Sales will be responsible for managing the relationship and revenue growth out of some of their most important accounts and sales channels. This is a highly visible and important role that needs a strong and hands on Salesperson to incrementally grow revenue with these accounts in addition to identifying additional revenue streams within these accounts. Build and lead high performance relationships with Big Box Retailers. Foster relationships with individuals at all levels including the C Level both internally and externally at clients. Help to identify additional revenue streams and strategically grow the business by use of forecasting models, channel strategy, and creation of sales and marketing plans.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sales

- Key Account Management (hands on, this person will be the primary point person and sales driver for these accounts)

- Develop and deliver pitches, presentation decks, etc

- Sharing of best practices to grow revenue across the organization

- Managing new product launches

- Contract negotiation

- Operational oversight and financial management of Accounts


Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in high level Sales role selling home products or similar to Big Box Retailers

-Experience managing accounts such as Lowes, Home Depot and/or Similar Big Box Home Improvement Retailers is a must

-Ability to travel 50% of the time (mainly US with light travel to Canada)

-A hands on Sales Driver (as this is not a leadership role)

-Intermediate expereince with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint


Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree is a must

Salary

$230K - $270K
$170K - $200K base, M/D/V, 401k with immediate match and no vesting required, volunt bonus
