Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This requires a high degree of functional experience in the company’s primary institutional markets: Registered Investment Advisors, Turnkey Asset Management Providers, Robo-Advisors, Qualified Retirement Plans and Third Party Administrators, Broker/Dealers, as well as others in the professionally intermediated financial services space. You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our sales, creating and implementing sales plans and securing agreement from senior management on those plans

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a regionally based sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence by region
  • Actively own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Drive sales pipeline and revenue forecasts through Salesforce
  • Identify and be aware of emerging market trends and shifts, and be fully aware of new products and competition in the marketplace
  • Actively advocate for product enhancements and additions based upon prospect and client requirements
  • Ability to initiate interactions and develop relationships with C-Level prospects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B to B sales management experience; experience in financial services sales, specifically an investing and portfolio management platform or similar, is strongly desired
  • Minimum 5+ years B to B external sales experience; preferably in financial services products and/or services
  • A strong track record of exceeding revenue quotas with quantifiable data examples
  • Experience using Salesforce to drive revenue generation
  • Experienceworking with key decision makers and C-Level corporate managers
  • Proven ability to directly manage 10+ member sales force and track their performance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational and management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • A high level of business acumen managing sales strategy and profitability
  • Ability to accurately forecast and manage the sales cycle of a high growth business model
