Client opening has a focus on mid and upstream oil and gas markets as well as petrochem and chemical process verticals. 5+ years sales management including experience with pumps, valves, fluid power, seals, actuators or pump stations is needed. The responsibility is national and the channels are direct, through distribution and OEM. The ability to lead 8 field sales reps as well as 2 inside sales people is needed.
There will be input into marketing, trade show selection, sales budget administration and sales training, initial and ongoing.
Key national relationships with OEM's as well as distribution leadership are part of the mix.
An engineering degree is a plus.
The preference is to hire from a factory/manufacturer level, however mfg rep or distribution sales leadership will be considered.
