National Account Executive for a rapidly growing services company in the Nashville area. He/she will acquire and maintain accounts by developing profitable, long-term strategic relationships to grow revenue and achieve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prospects potential customers, including cold calling
  • Retains and grows revenue in assigned accounts and regions
  • Establishes relationships with key contacts at customers applying business acumen and a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products and marketing strategies
  • Develops strong, collaborative relationships across business channels to partner with appropriate departments or resolve client concerns
  • Exhibits a strong proficiency to integrate solution knowledge and industry trends with the clients business needs in order to properly position the best solutions
  • Provides information regarding significant developments in the marketplace, including competition activity, new applications and product requirements as they impact the targeted marketplace
  • Prepares strategic account plans and facilitates business reviews with clients
  • Attends and participates in trade shows.
  • B.S. Degree in business administration, marketing, or sales
  • Three plus (3+) years salesexperience selling to national or regional property management companies OR salesexperience with a national or regional property management company
  • Salesexperience selling to manufacturers or industrial companies would also suffice
  • Proven track record selling professional services such as facilities management or maintenance services on a national or regional basis desired
  • Understanding of financial statements, letters of credit, contracts
  • Experience composing business proposals
  • Possess outstanding organizational skills and be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to make presentations to small and large audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to perform calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Experience with CRM (Client Relationship Management) software
  • National travelrequired as necessary; probably about 15%
