Job DescriptionResponsible for driving revenue through developing, building and maintaining relationships with major retail/etail accounts, and identifying potential retail/etail accounts customers for Sage products and services. This includes creating a close working relationship with our customers to maximize revenue potential from this segment of business and also provide/create systems and processes to effectively analyse sales trends, market trends, promotional performance and competitive activity. This position provides leadership on processes and issues between internal customers, information systems staff and the business systems by performing the activities personally or through co-workers. This role also develops and drives strategic plans for growing the Sage small business portfolio in the retail and etail marketplace. Provides both industry and product expertise in support of Sage's products to clients in the retail/etail/distribution channel. Key ResponsibilitiesKey accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Sets strategy for each assigned retail/etail/Distributor partner regarding revenue goals, objectives and margin targets
• Drives revenue by developing relationships with the key stakeholders in these Retail/Distributors and executing on agreed business and strategy plans for growing the Sage business in the retail/etail channel
• Responsible for developing and executing the strategy to acquire new retail, etail and distribution partnerships that will drive incremental revenue for Sage

• Develops presentations, business reviews and proposals for both internal and external partners
• Develops timely and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts and revises throughout the year
• Collaborates with internal Finance partners to resolve Accounts Payable or Receivable issues
• Involved in special projects, work with different areas of the business (Operations or Product Management) to ensure quality information is delivered to the appropriate people and planning timelines and deliverables are achieved


Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:
• Proficiency in English language, verbal and written
• 5+ years of professional sales management experience
• 2+ years of sales experience with big box retailers
• Well-versed in analyzing and developing strategy around sales analytics

Preferred:
• 2+ years of Project Management experience

Technical / professional qualifications:
• Accountancy qualification desirable
