National Inside Sales Director - Houston, Texas

Join this outstanding team of talent, bringing your background and expertise in Inside Sales success, in a Director level role. In this newly created role you will be leading and driving the sales efforts for the US in existing and new accounts. 

You will be hands-on, developing a world-class inside sales team that focuses on customer excellence, sales execution and productivity training and performance analysis.


GOALS for this position!


  • Develop Regional ISR Centers of Excellence to drive sales penetration and convert opportunities within targeted accounts, as well as identify and acquire new accounts
  • Coach ISRs to utilize best practices to advance sales opportunities
  • Ensure ISRs are prioritizing highest opportunity accounts
  • Assess direct reports and provide them with tools necessary to improve the required skills and competencies
  • Manage sales, profit and operational expenses for regional centers
  • Achieve rollup sales goal through effective coaching and managing of direct reports




  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years in Inside Sales Managerial role, preferably in the building materials industry, developing inside sales teams; ideally managing a ramping organization that has demonstrated sustained performance and growth
  • Supervised at least 10 direct reports
  • Managed to revenue goals more than $30M
  • Experience with planning across departmental lines and collaborative decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and other technologies. Experience with ERP and CRM a plus
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent leadership, energy, judgement, communication, interpersonal, management and analytical skills required and the ability to communicate change(s) effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, build commitment and overcome resistance
