Reporting to the Vice President of Retail Sales, the National Accounts Manager leads the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationship with Walmart and other key accounts. The National Accounts Manager is responsible for accomplishing strategic account objectives by planning, directing and coordinates activities of the sales of the company products. The National Accounts Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customer(s). Location of this position will be at the Corporate Headquarters in Novi, MI and can also sit at one of our support services sites including Masco Retail Sales Support in Mooresville, NC and Home Depot Sales Support in Smyrna, GA.


  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Manages sales through direct contact with assigned customer(s)
  • Recommends new business strategies to continuously strengthen competitive position in markets
  • Prepares reports, statements and statistical data necessary by conducting preliminary studies and investigations
  • Analyzes customer specific metrics and market trends to accurately forecast product demand and financial revenue
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management
  • Acts as liaison cross-functionally, in efforts to resolve customer matters
  • Attends and performs necessary duties at industry trade shows, seminars and organization meetings as necessary
  • Maintains a current understanding and knowledge of all program related activities and communicates status to appropriate parties


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business management
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating proven success in growing sales and closing deals primarily within the retailchannel
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis and cost control practices
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite


  • Able to travel up to 50%, including overnight
  • Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
