Well established Global Logistics and Transportation Company seeking experienced National Business Development/Account Managers to join our winning teams in Phoenix, Houston, Boston, Chicago and Jacksonville, FL! Ideal candidates will have a true hunter mentality, be naturally competitive, driven and self-motivated. Knowledge end experience in logistics, transportation and supply chain management is highly preferred.


Essential Duties

?        Develop leads to build a sales pipeline; heavy cold calling

?        Land a minimum of 4 new accounts per month; generate approximately $3 MM in revenue by end of the first year, and approximately $6 MM in revenue by end of the second

?        Generate approximately $3 MM in gross margin by end of the first year, and approximately $6 MM in gross margin by end of the second year

?        Effectively and consistently document all required customer activity in Salesforce

?        Participate in assigned conferences

?        Develop and execute a field sales business plan

?        Conduct price and service negotiations with clients

?        Manage expenses within the assigned budget and submit expenses in a timely manner with the proper documentation



?        Minimum RequiredEducation/Experience:

?        Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience

?        4 years of experience in truckload brokerage sales of transportation and distribution systems

?        Availability to travel up to 50% of the time

?        Desirable Education/Experience:

?        Experience in dedicated, asset-based, truckload brokerage

?        Success in large account development

?        Success in brokerage sales and sales management, and prior salesexperience with a proven track record of success delivering annual sales results around revenue, gross margin targets

?        Hunter mentality; primary focus is to acquire new business

?        Excellent interpersonal and management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities

?        Results oriented with high integrity and an ability to motivate
