Currently, our Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division is searching for a National Account Manager to manage our ACE partnership and business in Towson, MD | Chicago, IL.

Job Scope:

Increase sales of DEWALT, IRWIN, and LENOX branded Power Tool Accessories sold through ACE Hardware. Work directly with ACE’s merchandising, logistics and promotional planning teams to drive sales of all SBD brands to ACE membership through warehouse and drop ship programs. Develop strategic customer initiatives with the top 20 ACE members throughout the country. Increase sales to ACE by developing annual advertising programs, implementing a bi annual market strategy at the headquarters level and utilizing all the ACE promotional vehicles to leverage the SBD branded products with the ACE retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive SBD Growth with ACE focusing on developing aggressive advertising and promotional programs
  • Portfolio Responsibilities for SBD PTA across all brands ~ $38M+
  • Cultivate and manage relationship with ACE corporate staff (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Major Account Managers)
  • Effectively communicate ACE program requirements to SBD channel, supply chain, finance and leadership
  • Effectively manage the ACE bi-annual market planning process
  • Work directly with SBD Channel team to drive growth and market share gains with ACE
  • Plan, implement and attend key retailer programs with the Top 20 ACE members
  • Work with SBD Supply Chain Team to coordinate monthly forecasting process to provide for adequate product availability


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 5-10 years relevant experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Self-motivated, high energy, persistent, and sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Proven track record of success – ability to drive growth
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving - must be creative, innovative
  • Ability to organize and prioritize and work cross functionally
  • Superior Interpersonal skills - proficient in both written and verbal communications
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of market (competitors, environment etc.)
  • Experience in similar industry
