Job Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and professional National Account Manager - US Specialty Sales with a proven ability to formulate sound business plans, maximize opportunities, manage risk, deliver on profitability goals, develop effective long-term business relationships and exceed customer expectations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing bi-annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs
  • Deliver product presentations, business proposals and ad plans to customers on time
  • Understand customers’ timelines and proactively provide them with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business well
  • Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, at minimum on a monthly basis
  • Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary
  • Manage client-specific budget
  • Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
  • Clear and efficient communication with customers; fast solutions to challenges
  • Work proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service
  • Work in a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to your account management team

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 6 plus years national sales and account management experience
  • Retail and/or CPG experiencepreferred
  • Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio with national retailers
  • Customer driven approach- a go-getter attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
  • Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
  • Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence & determination
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations, excel files, read POS reports.
